I travel a lot on business. Some people think of air travel as a luxury. A fantastic voyage to places they only dream about. When I look at an airplane, I see a bus with wings. I guess it's all perspective really. Over the past week or so as the 5th anniversary of September 11th approached, more and more people have been asking me if I planned on flying on 9/11. As it so happens... I'll be boarding a flight this evening. Just like the past two years. Three years flying on that ominous d...

Link A lot of you know who Cindy Sheehan is. She's the mom leading the protest/vigil outside dubya's hideout in Crawford Texas. This article isn't about her protest. Others have covered that . This is about what happened yesterday.... Some redneck asshole took it upon themselves to drive through a few rows of the crosses erected on the side of the road. These crosses were part of her protest, and had the names of every american soldier, sailor, airman and marine killed in the Iraq war...

Normally i am a supporter of freedom of the press. With that said... As many of you know, Mary Kay Latourneau wed Vili Fulau over the weekend. Fulau was the young boy she raped when she was a teacher. This is bizarre enough on it's own. But now Entertainment Tonight (being the oh so reputible news outlet they are) is airing a special segment on their show with exclusive coverage of the wedding. This makes me sick! Since when is this newsworthy? We are rewarding sexual predators with ...

According to MSNBC TV, an extremely large avalanche has fallen on The Canyons ski resort, at least one and possibly up to 15 skiers are missing. apparantly they were in an out of bounds area, and brought it down on themselves. I know this part of the resort pretty well, and have skied Dutch Draw a few times. The hills are a dangerous place sometimes. If you ski or board, always remember that. Link

I guess we weren't in as much danger as we thought... Link ABC news Australia's report Link Now before all you righties come unglued on me, i would like to point out that it was a bipartisan decision to go to war. No one disputes that. Our government needs to make damn sure that they actually know what's going on before declaring war. The thing that upsets me is that the real WMD menace in the region (Iran) is blatantly pursuing WMD's and we sit idly by and do nothing. We shou...

Howdy folks, This week i'm in the normally lovely city of Newport Beach, California. The rain here is INSANE!! It was dumping when i got off the plane yesterday, all day, and all night. The storm finally broke about a half hour ago, and i can finally see the ocean (the sad thing is that i'm less than a mile from it.) Mudslides, sinkholes, floods. Mother nature is back, and she's PISSED! I'm just glad i'm not at home in the SLC. That's where this rain is heading. Probably snowing right n...
