Were you naughty or nice?

Well folks, it's Christmas Morning! The time of year when we see how good we have been over the previous year by how much stuff we get.

What did the fat bearded one bring you?

I got...

1. A Porsche Letterman jacket (i love my mom!)
2. A copy of "Call of Duty: United Offensive"
3. A Shriners Fez (Amber says i've been bad, but i still get it)
4. One bottle of 15 yr old Jamisons Irish Whiskey (smooooooooooooooth)
5. I finished the 911 restoration so that's the present from me to me...(even though i was kinda naughty this year)
6. I'm off work with pay til Jan. 3rd

Later today i'm going to go to my mom's house and have BBQ prime rib (that's how we do it out west folks) and finish building her new computer. Then later this evening i'm going out for drinks with the crew.

It's cold, we have snow on the ground, and not a cloud in the sky in SLC. A beautiful Christmas Day.

Have a Merry Christmas!

Thanks for reading,

I got a mini iPod - not something I would have ever bought for myself (even if I had the money!) but something I am totally stoked about (currently uploading like a fiend!). Also got a couple of bottles of wine, some socks, some terribly unflattering knickers from my grandma and some Australian licorice.

My Dad's coming to visit in a couple of weeks so then I'll get the parental unit's presents. Nice to spread it out.

Merry Christmas all. I'm now happily drunk and full. I believe I followed the motto of eat, drink and be merry.

I got a Fossil watch, a book by Jack Kornfield, a needlepoint kit (it's very cool, I'll show you when it's done), a bottle of Hot Damn, a ceramic snowman candle holder (with a candle), some body lotion and body spray and $150.  I think I made out pretty damn well.....

Actually King, you're not too far off. I do have a thawed turkey and a camcorder...All i need is an accomplice and a tall building.

a fez and whiskey are dangerous companions

Throw in a monkey and a flamethrower and it's kinda scary

got a wonderful pair of dress slacks, shirt, and even a garish tie to hang myself from the ceiling with! I'll be the best looking sob in a casket!

Damn i hate it when that happens...I told my relatives loooong ago that nobody is to ever give me clothes. Unless they provide the reciept that is!

I got a mini iPod

Sweeeet!

some terribly unflattering knickers from my grandma

Ahhh granny panties from granny....i see...

Man!
This is a huge surprise to me.
Of course, I couldn't resist reading the list of your gifts.
I'm sure you are happy with all of them, but the one which caught my eye was the Shriners Fez.

I won't go long with my story so right now all I will tell you is that when I was a boy, I was blessed to receive a surgery to correct a big problem on my right foot in a Shriner's hospital in Mexico city.

I don't know how my life would have been if I hadn't been "operated" (is this the word for a surgery?). All I know is I never forget that, and right now I am so thrilled to be near to getting in touch with one of these wonderful people who help people with limited economical resources as my family was those many years ago.

Could you tell me a little more about your relationship with that organization?

Another thing I always remember these days of the year was that for the following years after the surgery, I was invited to the hospital premises to a holiday party thrown for all the patients. In Mexico we call them "Posadas". Any one could tell who the shriners were because they all wore those Fez.

God bless all of these generous people, including yourself!
