Howdy folks, I should warn you this is a mini-rant. Some of the arguements going on around here lately are a freakin joke. People on both side of the aisle are having little mini wars over the smallest things. A reflection of how divided this country really is in my opinion. A sad statement in general. How many of you have seen the new layout around these parts? I for one like it! Faster, sleeker, and better graphics. I give it high marks. One question? Is there any way to filter out the obvious junk users around here? like "Orrin whathisname", and "meeting swingers", and a few others. One of the things i really like about JU is the fact we don't get a lot of these clowns on the site. I have no time to spare scrolling past their crap to get to my daily battles with Mod, Guy and Miler....

According to MSNBC TV, an extremely large avalanche has fallen on The Canyons ski resort, at least one and possibly up to 15 skiers are missing. apparantly they were in an out of bounds area, and brought it down on themselves. I know this part of the resort pretty well, and have skied Dutch Draw a few times.The hills are a dangerous place sometimes. If you ski or board, always remember that. Link

Howdy folks, This week i'm in the normally lovely city of Newport Beach, California. The rain here is INSANE!! It was dumping when i got off the plane yesterday, all day, and all night. The storm finally broke about a half hour ago, and i can finally see the ocean (the sad thing is that i'm less than a mile from it.) Mudslides, sinkholes, floods.
